-its dictionary meaning is "The process of working collaboratively with a group of people in order to achieve a goal"


but for us, this is teamwork

This is me; I am the scriptwriter of the group. I am tasked to write a story creatively. I brainstormed for like 2 days just to plot the story and it took me a day to combine all those information to form our very own story.

This is Don; he is our actor/actress of the group. He is our main character. And he is our only character. All character is played by this very talented guy, and he did it very well.

 This is Summer; she is the artist of the group. She has this incredible talent in drawing. So the making of the storyboard is all left to her. Well, we all know that her talent will help her make the storyboard creatively.

This is Kuya Eric; he is our technician. He manages all of the gadgets we use in making our project. He is also our cameraman. He is also our music director.

And this is Hanna; she is our director. She leads the group. She tells us the things we should accomplish. Her skill in communicating is helping her to lead us towards success. She is the brain of our group.

With our skills combined together, we can say that we are a TEAM. And we WORK together. So I can surely say that this project is a product of TEAMWORK.

Communication Changes Along it's Technology

I am 16 years old, that means I am a 90's kid. In the early days, I remember playing with cans connected with a string and using it like a telephone. I will grab it's end and my friend will grab the other end of it. I will hide behind the tree and he will hide behind the bushes.  I remember that we are giggling because he said something really funny! Those are our very own way of communicating. How I really miss those days. But now a days, I don't see kids playing this toy anymore. They are all in front of the computer and playing games. They really missed the real essence of childhood! I am really disappointed with those kids!

                              

But since our country is constantly changing, so is it's technology. Communication is very vital in our society, so many technology evolved. Now, cellphones are owned by almost everybody Now, mailing is just done by a click of a mouse. Now, we can talk to people out side our country using the internet (Skype), and we can even see them! See how communication and its technology evolve trough time? From can phones to cellphones. From Snail mail to e-mail. Many more are changing and still counting. Change is not inevitable, especially in technology. We wont now that later on, we can talk to people far away through the use of our own mind. No one really know how technology will evolve.

Why Communicate?

First, what is communication? Communication exchange of thoughts, messages, or information, as by speech, visuals, signals, writing, or behavior (that's what Wikipedia tells me. LOL!). But why in the world of Pokemons we need to communicate? Well duh?! It's our very own way to express ourselves. For example, you saw your friend walks in a crowd with his pant's zipper open and his bajables(LOL!) seen! Of course, your very first reaction is to laugh out loud(haha)! After that, you will tell him that his bajables is peaking out of his pants! In that hilarious scenario, you can see two different kinds of communication. When you laugh at him, you Non-verbally communicated to him, your laugh shows that you've seen something funny. In that way, you've given him an idea of what you've seen. Therefore, you've communicated with him. Another is you've verbally told him that his bajables is peaking out of his pants. See? In that scenario, you've seen some of the importance of communicating. If you did'nt told your fried about his bajables, many people might seen those and will be traumatized!

That is my aunt. She is working at Doha, Qatar. She is the youngest daughter of my grand mama, that means she is the favorite. But since money here in the Philippines is hard to earn, my aunt decided to work abroad. Of course, my grand mama did not want her to work abroad because she's not used to be far from her. But of course, my aunts decision will be followed because she will work for grand mama and grand papa. Just a day after my aunt left us, my grand mama missed her already. So I have this bright shining idea! I told her to create a skype account so we can talk online. So there, I called her using skype. As you can see, my fat(joke!) aunt sees the good condition of her mama. And my grand mama(in the small box at the right) can also see the condition of her favorite daughter. See, communication is improved by technology. It helps two people far from each other to communicate easily.








So, why communicate?








Duh?! :)

Here at Lyceum of the Philippines, CAS is fun! The college of arts and sciences is consisting of three programs; Bachelor of Arts in Communication, Bachelor of Arts in Multimedia arts, and Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Just by looking at the three programs, you can conclude that our department is very active, very creative, and very understanding. CAS or the College of Arts and Sciences is said to be the most active department in Lyceum! Well, I can see that they are really saying the truth and it is not a bluff! I am very happy that I enrolled at Lyceum of the Philippines and chose the Department College of Arts and Sciences. And the students of the department of CAS are very friendly, and very funny. CAS also bragged that the department of CAS is the home for beauty and brains. I honestly agree to that! See, everywhere you look in our department will always please your sight because of the beautiful faces of the students! And along with their beautiful faces is their intelligence!

By the way, my course is Bachelor of Arts in Multimedia Arts, the coolest course in the department of CAS. Bachelor of Arts in Multimedia Arts or BA MMA is the home for the most creative people in Lyceum. This course is filled with cool lessons! The life of the students here will be colorful! No day is a boring day! Dang it! I am very excited to see the cool lessons BA MMA has in stored for us! Photography, animating, digital arts, photo and music editing, and more cool stuff! Baam! I am so excited!

To top it all, CAS professors are very cool, very beautiful and handsome, and very intelligent! Truly CAS is fun!

Dang it! I am so bored here at home. Can't do anything but stare at computer. Good thing I remember that I should write something in this blog. By the way, let me introduce myself. I am Jose Cyril Miranda, but I prefer you calling me Cyril. I am a 1st year student in Lyceum of the Philippines Laguna, and my course is BA Multimedia Arts. I am living at Los Banos Laguna. And baaaam! I am a big fan of Pokemon, especially grass types. In fact, some of my project in my  high school years has Pokemon in it. Another fact about me is that I am obsessed with color GREEN! I never go out of my house without wearing a green t shirt (well of course except when I am tasked to buy things outside or when I am going to church). I am also a big fan of Harry Potter! I know all the spells (I hope)! And also, I am a player of Left 4 Dead. And if you want a fight, in Left 4 Dead, you can contact me and my folks will be there to battle yours! Be sure your good at it cuz we don't want a one sided battle (boastful!). I am funny when I am in my comfort zone. I can't make you laugh to death if you want. But I am VERY shy when I am not comfortable with my environment. That's why I don't make friends easily, especially in a new school and a new environment.
